recently been breached, but it was only one mystery user whose account got
hacked (according to The Verge). Still the company is urging its users who

The company in its official blog said, “Our evidence shows
that only one Spotify user’s data has been accessed and this did not include
any password, financial or payment information. We have contacted this one
individual. Based on our findings, we are not aware of any increased risk to
users as a result of this incident.”
According to TechCrunch, “Spotify aims to put a series of security
measures in place “over the next few days”. Android users will be prompted to
re-enter their username and password to log in.”
